Surely y’all have picked up on my love for the brand Eliza J, right? I wear their dresses ALL THE TIME because they’re that good. In fact, my assistant Ramsey and I recently wore a few Eliza J dresses here from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’ve worn the brand for several years, so you can even look back at posts like this to see me in this same cute dress pictured but in last season’s color way. Fun Fact: The designers of Eliza J also have a sister line called Harper Rose, which I’ve featured here along with countless other times. Both brands are definitely two of my top favorites to wear! You can find them at most department stores like Nordstrom (widest selection), Dillard’s and Bloomingdale’s. Now let me tell you my 5 reasons to love Eliza J dresses…
First of all, Eliza J dresses are truly ageless. There is no limit. You are not too old nor too young to wear their clothing since they make something for everyone. The brand is very modern and fresh, yet not too trendy. In my opinion, classic feminine pieces always last much longer and don’t get tired as quickly. So I still have several Eliza J pieces from years ago that are still in style. Ramsey even loved how this Eliza J dress she has can be worn for years to come as well. It’s definitely a brand you can shop with your daughter or mom and each come away with something totally different but equally adorable!
The second reason I love Eliza J dresses is that there is an appropriate length and style for anyone. Personally, I prefer not to wear shorter skirts or dresses because I like to cover my knees. So they have the most darling midi dresses and maxi dresses for other women who are in the same boat as me! I wore this striped maxi dress (similar here) all summer long and loved it. They even make great jumpsuits if you don’t like to show your legs at all. On the other hand, there are plenty of fun shorter dresses for young women like my assistant Ramsey. No matter your preference, you can find the perfect style and length you’re looking for with this brand.
Eliza J has both everyday dresses and black tie evening wear, so the price points vary between the two of course. Since I don’t have too many black tie events right now, I wear a lot of their daytime dresses, which all fall under $200. Many of their long gowns or jumpsuits for events and weddings fall within this amazing price point as well. Who doesn’t love style that won’t break the bank?
The fit of Eliza J dresses is super flattering since they’re quite forgiving! I tend to size up to an 8 occasionally, and that gives me the perfect fit I’m always looking for (without pulling in the chest area). It’s almost as if they know me, because many of their dresses come in my favorite neckline – the halter. This works best for my frame and gives me the needed support and coverage I desire up top. Eliza J really seems to understand a woman’s body, making their clothes with details that flatter the figure while disguising the not so good parts… if you know what I mean?
Whether I have a formal event, luncheon, vacation or meeting, I consistently can find a versatile Eliza J dress that works for numerous occasions. It’s always fun for me to re-style a classic dress in different ways! For instance, my favorite Eliza J maxi dress I mentioned above was perfect for the rewardStyle conference as well as for a poolside cocktail party. And this cute dress is something I could wear from a work meeting and then straight to dinner with Pete. If you work in a professional setting, they even have a classic cut blazer that can make that transition from desk to dinner easier for you. Versatility is key!
