I am not, I repeat, not on a beach vacation this week. It’s spring break in our neck of the woods and I am at home potty training sweet Max. Thank you to everyone who left comments yesterday with tips and tidbits. I really appreciate it. You all are awesome to share my journey with me. My kids however are on great beach vacations with their friends. I guess this is how it goes when you are an empty nester. Vacations for my husband and me no longer have to be in a specific one week timeframe in March.
These pictures are from our spring break trip last year to Turks and Caicos. It was a fabulous trip and our second time to visit the beautiful beaches there. Looking at these picturesque moments makes me want to pack for a quick beach getaway. So I started on-line shopping and pulled together some pretty fabulous beach looks. We’ll call this the packing list for my “upcoming beach vacation”. Hint, hint!
By the way, I am super excited that my trip to Bali was featured on PaperCity Jet-Set Dispatch. Click here to read the entire feature. How fun to be published!
Although there are no hard and fast rules about one-piece vs. bikini at this age, I tend to lean toward a fashionable one-piece. No one wants to see all my parts hanging out.
Tanya’s beach picks: white cover up / striped one-piece / OYE one-piece with mesh sides (very flattering) / YSL lip color / mens swim trunks / Free people dress (makes a great cover up) / sweetheart one-piece swimsuit / flip flop / round sunglasses / beach bag / cork sandal (flat) / Tory Burch lip color / turquoise necklace / flower beaded rope bracelet / long sleeve draw-string maxi (great for dinner) and of course, lots of sunscreen
What are your beach vacation essentials? xoxo- Tanya
This looks so relaxing.
