More specifically, I will show you how to take a lightweight dress and use a sweater for a chic fall look. A sweater vest is a great way to style a lightweight dress for fall. This Staud maxi shirtdress has been a staple from spring into summer and now for fall. It is the perfect everyday dress. Even better is that it is now on sale! It comes in two colors and runs large. To give it a fall vibe, I paired the dress with riding boots. Riding boots are a winter and fall fashion must-have.
Now, let’s look at my favorite sweaters to style with this dress. For an extra cozy vibe, I love this fuzzy teddy vest. It warms you up and gives you a chic monochromatic look. Another piece that gives you a fabulous monochromatic look is this rib stripe cardigan. Although not a sweater vest, a cardigan is still a great sweater to have on hand for the fall. If you want to break up the beige color, I love this black sweater vest. The black really ties in well with a black riding boots to give you a nice and polished look.
