Front Door Fashion

Recently I was invited by the nice folks at Front Door Fashion to come to their establishment and try them out. I met owners Nina Lowe and Andrea Isom and got familiar with their styling concept. Have you ever wanted someone to assess your style and closet and then style you?  This is for you.

They assigned me to darling stylist Carson Carney and we got to work.  I filled out an on-line style profile before my visit and when I got there, Carson had pulled all of the clothes in the picture above. All of the clothes were in my size and based on my information I gave in the profile.  We then discussed what I needed/wanted in my wardrobe to enhance what I already have. I tried everything on and let them take pictures of me.  Carson took notes and added the pictures to my profile. I will say that the process streamlined the shopping experience. If you are like me, I do not have time to shop. This is great for the busy professional woman or even the stay-at-home mom who does not have time to keep up with the latest trends.  There is no charge for the stylist to work with you.  The clothes are priced at about the same price point of Nordstroms. You can also hire the stylist to come to your house and help you “evaluate” your closet. I loved the experience and personal attention and left with several pieces. You can also do everything on-line and they will ship you a “styled box” at no cost.  If you don’t like the pieces, you just ship them back free of charge.  They have a wide range of brands and carry sizes 0-12. Give them a ring and set up an appointment.

About Front Door Fashion

Front Door Fashion’s secret weapon is not their coveted fashion brands, their chic Design District Style Lounge or the convenience they offer style starved ladies across the US—it’s their stylists. Just as the red carpet stars at the Academy Awards need a stylist to look their best so does the mom, career professional and every woman in between. FDF offers the Hollywood dream of a professional stylist to every one of their clients yet at no charge.

FDF Founders Andrea Isom and Nina Lowe generously match each and every FDF client with one of their professional stylists who then perform individual style analysis and custom styling services-all at no cost. Women across the US appreciate this value that typically dings the wallet at $150 per hour yet the mere opportunity to be groomed by accomplished stylists such as Shirin Askari (of Project Runway and Shirin Askari Designs, LLC.), Tor Matthey (formerly of Net-A-Porter) and Neiman Marcus groomed Carson Carney is a rare value. Just as the celebrities have their stylist send custom styled clothes to their homes or meet them at a swanky lounge to review styled outfits Shirin, Tor and Carson do the same with no service fee or premium cost of the clothes to the FDF client. The nationwide client base of FDF is typically short on shopping time therefore opt to have custom styled clothes (complete with jewelry, Spanx, belts, scarves, etc.) sent to their home after a virtual style profile is completed and reviewed via phone with Tor, Shirin or Carson. Round trip shipping is complimentary and made easy. And since the Dallas based lifestyle company opened their new Style Lounge and studio a growing number of local and out of state clients meet one of these stylists for a one-on-one styling session in studio.
