Y’all the animal print craze is still here and it’s not going anywhere! There’s nothing better to add to your winter and fall wardrobe than some animal print pieces. It instantly makes any look fierce and fabulous. These looks are still very much in my closet and worn often. Animal print, when done right, can be the perfect neutral. The key is to not wear it head to toe (Carole Baskin). It can be a blouse, dress, accessory, phone case or even this fabulous coat.

Let’s spend some time just getting caught up. I love these blog posts because it’s where we really get to chit chat. On Instagram, I ask my followers how they are doing in IG Stories. During this crazy year, and especially the last few weeks, I feel like we all need to check on each other. I know that you all have kept me sane in 2020! THANK YOU for your caring replies and suggestions. I truly appreciate you – ALL of you!
Speaking of things that have kept me sane, who has been watching Season 2 of The Mandalorian on Disney +? SO GOOD! Watch out for several items our Gift Guides featuring ‘The Child’ (baby Yoda). I wish they posted more than one episode at a time, but it is great to have a show to look forward to on Friday nights. Remember when all shows only aired one episode at a time? How did we survive?
Pete and I just finished binge watching all 7 episodes of The Queens Gambit on Netflix. It’s soooooo good and I highly recommend it! This is the same actress that is the lead in Emma – Anya Taylor-Joy. I first noticed her in a film I saw at Sundance Film Festival several years ago called The Witch. I remember thinking that she was going to be amazing. And she is! Another show to look forward to is Season 4 of The Crown on Netflix. Mark your calendars and have your tea and biscuits ready to watch on Sunday, November 15.
Ok so let’s talk more about my animal print craze. There are so many animal print pieces that I love to incorporate in my wardrobe. This fall I have been living in these animal print mules (they come in 4 colors and I have them in black too). Check out how I styled them in my ‘fall trends for less’ blog post here. With the winter weather approaching, I think we all need a fun coat, so why not invest in a fabulous animal print coat? I am loving my new JAG Brister coat in leopard. If you haven’t checked out JAG Jewelry and Goods yet, be sure to check them out HERE for chic women’s fashion. The coat can be paired with any solid colors. I wore mine with this red cashmere sweater (under $100), these white jeans and these red Hunter boots.
How do you feel about the animal print craze? Yay or Nay?

A shoe is my go-to way to wear animal! I also like tortoise in jewelry and hair accessories — wear in my hair almost daily.
I love this look, Tanya!
Animal print shoe is the perfect way to embrace your inner animal Paige.
Love it!

Carol’s “animal sanctuary” looks worse than Joe or Doc’s places any day. Just because hers is a “nonprofit” doesn’t actually make it any better. And yes, she’s very guilty. Can you sic the fashion police on her? Too much animal print on that woman! But I do love adding a splash of animal print occasionally. Thanks for showing us how to wear it better than Carol Baskin!
I completely agree Betsy! Cages everywhere!
I can’t take it. Free the kitties!

Yes, they are all guilty!! And aren’t the music videos the best?
Right?
It’s so obvious!

Thanks for the fun blog. I started following you because of animal print. I think I told you this but I received a Chico’s catalog and loved the animal print vest you were wearing. I went into Chicos and when a salesperson asked if she could help me, I picked up the catalog and said, “Yes, I want this vest.” She asked me if I knew you and I said no but she told me you were on Instagram and lived in Dallas. So, I can home and the rest is history. Didn’t get to see Tiger King. I need to catch up with all the hype.
Barbara,
Thanks for letting. me know that. I’m so glad you found me through the Chico’s catalogue. That was such a fun shoot!
