It’s still pretty chilly here in Dallas, so I wanted to give you some inspiration for how to wear a big trend of the season – animal print! I found this cozy leopard piece from & Other Stories, a fabulous store I stumbled upon in New York. They design their clothes in Paris, Los Angeles, and Stockholm, so they carry a different mix of contemporary styles that I’m just loving. I paired back this oversized sweater with these cool new Parker Smith jeans.
Animal print isn’t going away anytime soon, as it’s still trending through Spring and next Fall too. From leopard to snake skin, animal print is great to throw on and add some fun flair to your look! A slouchy sweater definitely looks best with a pair of chic skinnies, so I paired it with these Parker Smith coated jeans. By the way, I am wearing size SMALL in the sweater because it’s really oversized. I like this one and this Zebra print one as well. It may be a bit hard to tell in pictures, but the bottom of the jeans are dip-dyed in a cobalt coating. Every woman needs a staple pair of leather-like jeans, so these are perfect to spice up your outfit in this cool weather! They’ll give you the look of leather without the high cost, plus fit true to size. Finish the outfit with some patent leather booties. These are old, but I linked very similar options below to help you get the same effect.
I’m also using my phone case from The Daily Edited in this look, which I customized using the font “shadow text” in pink and white. Click here to get started and custom design your own phone case. They have other fabulous leather products too so you will want to shop their entire site. They just launched their luggage and you can customize it. You know my motto – monogram everything!
I know we’re all getting restless with this cold weather, as it can really put me in a style rut. You can see some more tips in my previous blog post here, but try to add some animal print to your wardrobe and you’ll look as chic as ever! You can even incorporate it into your look with accessories like a pair of animal print shoes or these fabulous sunglasses.
How do you like to wear animal print? Let me know in the comments below! xoxo – Tanya
P.S. Check out this blog post for a similar look with these brands. Except I styled it in all black.
