Last night I got to attend the Kappa Tablescapes preview cocktail party. The designers did the most incredible job with the tables. I blogged about this event in this post. Today I will be at the luncheon event to hear Jan Showers speak. Below is a picture of one of the beautiful table centerpieces. Magnificent! I wore this dress last night. I loved seeing Annie R. from 5 by 7 Designs at the event. She had on a dress I blogged about last week and looked stunning. I was so thankful that she came up to me, introduced herself and told me that she reads the blog and follows on Instagram. I have no idea if what I blog about is resonating with anyone so I am beyond grateful when you let me know. And I love seeing how you style things for yourself. Thank you Annie!
Yesterday I told you that I ran out and did some last-minute shopping on Saturday to get ready for Cattle Baron’s Ball. They key to doing this is already have something to wear. I had two things in mind that I already owned. But I just wasn’t excited about them. I ran over to Neiman Marcus Last Call and found some cute embellished jeans and paired it with a fun black top. It was all on major SALE. Voila! I added my cowboy boots and I was done. All to say, keep your options open when getting ready for an event and have a back up plan.

When I am styling an outfit, it helps to do a flat lay first. In this case, I was trying to decide which boots to wear with the new items. I let my Snapchat and Instagram followers decide by giving me their input. THANK YOU!
