I’ve been so excited about this announcement. Meet my new assistant Brooke Erbe! She’s the dynamo that’s been helping me expand the TanyaFoster.com brand. Let me introduce you to her and let’s find out what she will be doing.
Fun fact: Brooke pulled everything we have on and styled today’s blog post. I just gave her my sizes and she took it from there. I love doing this with interns/assistants because it gets me out of a fashion rut. I did a little Q & A with Brooke so that you could get to know her. She is my part-time assistant and she is helping me tremendously. You might remember meeting Victoria last summer. She was my intern and has returned to Baylor University to finish her degree.
Q & A with Brooke Erbe
Tell me something about you: Hi! I’m Brooke Erbe from Waco, Texas and have been living in Dallas since March. I got married in last June to my husband, Jonah, who works for the Texas Rangers. We love it here!
Where did you go to school? I attended Baylor University where I was a Kappa Kappa Gamma and lived with Taylor for 3 years. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Fashion Design and Business Administration.
You own a store??? Yes, my mother, Janna and I own a store in Waco called Roots Boutique. I do most of the apparel buying for the boutique and travel to Waco on occasion to help with day-to-day tasks.
Why do you want to be an assistant at TanyaFoster.com? I wanted to become your assistant to further my experience and knowledge in the fashion world. I have always been intrigued in all facets of blogging: from styling, to social media, to writing. This combines my love of being creative and getting to work for people I truly admire!
As Brooke mentioned above, I initially met her because she was a room-mate and sorority sister of our daughter Taylor. We’ve gotten to know her family and had the joy of attending her wedding last summer. What I look for in someone who comes to work with me is initiative, creativity, honesty and dependability. Both Brooke and Victoria possess all these qualities. I feel fortunate that they are willing to work with me.
You’ll be seeing and hearing from Brooke on this blog as she will be a contributor. It’s a great way for you to know style from a 20something perspective. She also will be doing a lot of the behind the scenes work for the blog. I love how she styled both of us. What do you think?
xoxo – Tanya
