Happy SEPTEMBER! It’s that time again for another volume of Mid-Week Musings. We are halfway through the week and then we get a long weekend! How exciting is that?! YIPPEE! Do you all have special plans or are you relaxing at home? In today’s volume of Mid-Week Musings, I want to give you all the Labor Day Weekend vibes. Before we get to my Mid-Week Musings, Pete and I got to advance screen the new Cinderella movie last night. Y’all, its a live action musical and its really good! From Kay Cannon (Pitch Perfect), Cinderella is a modern musical with a bold take on the story you grew up with. The ambitious heroine (Camilla Cabello) has big dreams and with the help of her Fab G, she perseveres to make them come true. Cinderella has an all-star cast including Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, James Corden, Nicholas Galitzine, Billy Porter and Pierce Brosnan. It’s set to modern music and the choreography is fantastic. Cinderella releases on Friday, September 3 on Amazon Prime and will have a limited theater release as well. Rated PG. Fun for the entire family and something to do for LDW.
