Mother’s Day is only three weeks away (May 8)! It’s a great time to really reflect and appreciate what your mom has done for you. For those of you who are new here, I lost my mother over three years ago and I got personal about the loss in this post. If you’re still fortunate enough to have your mother in your life, I’ve curated some gift ideas for you in this post. If you’re a mom, I recommend forwarding this post to your husband or kids to give them some ideas. I’ve included low and high-end items for you to choose from that you can ship directly to your mom if you’re not able to celebrate together. I hope everyone gets to celebrate with their mother or daughter in person. That is the best gift of all!
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Let’s start with some fashion picks. This vines shirtdress or this similar shirtdress are unique and beautiful, just like the mother in your life. If you’re a mom, this is also a great outfit option and perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch. You can pair the dress with these floral strap sandals for a beautiful spring look. I have tons more dress options below, all at various price points.
As far as accessories go, you can never go wrong with a designer handbag. I love this Yves Saint Laurent straw tote bag. This raffia tote bag is a similar gorgeous option at a lower price point. I also love this beaded clutch for an option under $100. Jewelry is another accessory that never disappoints. These hand-painted floral earrings are just gorgeous. I also love this Julie Vos bangle along with these Julie Vos pearl drop earrings. Julie Vos offers high-quality, gorgeous jewelry gift options. You know I also love all the selections from Allie & Bess.
Now let’s look at some gifts for the home. The Our Place Always Pan Set is a cult classic that I know any mom will love. A beautiful set of plates or a platter are other great options. This lotus serving board is a unique kitchen item that she will use all the time. A floral tea kettle (or this tea-for one pot) or a set of coasters are great gifts because people rarely buy it for themselves. For some non-kitchen home items, candles are always a good idea. I especially love this raffia candle or this sculpted garden candle. Flowers or a unique vase are other classic gifts.
Gifts Under $100
Other smaller gift ideas for under $100 includes luxe mimosa sugar cube set, designer lip care oil, this Elemis 5-piece skincare set, a monogrammed mug, a monogrammed trinket dish, a smart watch band, an iPad case, a pajama set, these flora candle holders, a candle making kit, this beaded pouch, a ‘You and Me’ Mom journal, a picture frame, luxury bubble bath, a nice gardening tote bag.
TIP: Use part of your gift to wrap another gift. For example, present your flowers in a beautiful vase that she can keep or use a gorgeous dishtowel to wrap a small gift or bottle of wine/olive oil. This is also a great way to wrap a hostess gift.
