Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Must Have Jackets and Jeans

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Look #1:

Although my snakeskin jacket is unavailable, these snakeskin jeans or a leopard jacket are a fun way to incorporate the animal print trend. Did you see my blog post last week on the other upcoming trends for the season? Animal print may be my favorite! To me, I consider it more of a classic that’s never been out of style. Another trend I love is cropped flare jeans. These cropped flare jeans are sold out from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but here is a very similar option just like mine. I also love this light wash flare jean for summer. Cropped flares are flattering and adorable with any shoe. I chose to bring a pop of color into my look with these yellow mules (on major SALE; also come in black) and blue crossbody purse. Both are still available and come in several colors. By the way, this yellow mule is a great alternative to mine and a much better price (under $50)! You can read more about how to add a splash of color to your look from this past post. One of the tips I gave was to combine contrasting colors like blue and yellow pictured here. Have you tried this yet? Color blocking is only becoming more popular, so hop on this trend train early!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Look #2:

Most of Ramsey’s outfit is almost sold out from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as well, but we linked similar selections. There are still a few left of her suede moto jacket in black. And this Rag & Bone skinny jean looks exactly like the jeans Ramsey is wearing. Rag & Bone is one of the best premium denim brands, so definitely take advantage of their denim options that are on major sale right now. Such a steal. Her cute snakeskin bag is from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but sold out sadly! Doesn’t it coordinate perfectly with her Gucci slides though? She actually won these from one of my giveaways a few years ago, so we both have a pair. The slides are no longer available, but these sneakers have the same festive color scheme. I have really enjoyed my Gucci sneakers, so I highly recommend.

Fall is coming sooner than you may think! So I suggest stocking up on the best jackets and jeans you can before the season is in full swing. Plus, there are many lightweight jackets you can wear now. It’s always freezing indoors in the summertime, so a light jacket or cardigan is a necessity for me. Then a couple fall must-haves of mine are an animal print jacket and a black moto jacket. It’s good to have one like this that can go with everything, but also try a printed one for that extra trendy pop. Once the temperatures cool down, I love a good fluffy jacket. And a statement coat is a definite yes from me.

I think jeans are certainly a year-round staple that you can never have too many of. Remember that you can shop all of my favorite denim from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale here. I’m loving cropped flare jeans like I mentioned earlier. They are so on-trend and have a fun retro feel at the same time. And of course, you can’t beat a good skinny jean. But if skinny isn’t your thing, try a more casual and relaxed boyfriend jean.
