Happy Friday! We made it to the end of another week. Woot, woot!

Look, I think Pete’s pictures are getting better. What do you think? We quickly shot this look right before walking out the door to fun event with Top Chef Masters winner Rick Bayless and Negra Modelo. You’ll hear more about that when I recap it next week. And by “quickly” I mean we shot this in 10 minutes because it was 104 degrees in Dallas that day.

I am so glad I snagged this little light weight off-the-shoulder dress at Nordstrom. It’s Topshop and only $68! By the way, it comes in cream too. I might just have to grab that color as well. I paired it with this simple Stephanie Kantis cuff and chain necklace, Schutz shoes and threw on this hat because my hair was dirty. That’s a good little trick I use. And how about this darling woven clutch from Joia at Saint Bernard? This is a great look for a casual night out in our Dallas summer heat.

Two things to share: Saint Bernard is an excellent place to do your back to school shopping. I just bought a ton of stuff for the frat boy (college son). Don’t forget about tax-free weekend in Texas (August 7-9) and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ends in 3 days (Monday, August 3).
