Full disclosure: I get asked to try beauty products ALL THE TIME. I only try them if I feel the product line has something new to offer my skin that I truly need. And I will only review them if I use them myself. I have been using ZO Skin Care for several years and thought it would be a good time to share this review! Note that my outfit is old but I linked similar below.
These products came to me via Dr. Lynley McAnalley who I see for various injectables. She told me that Dr. Zein Obagi recently created a new line of products that are truly effective. Dr. McAnalley uses Zo Skin Care products and encouraged me to give them a try (just take one look at her and you will try anything she uses). I love how rich they feel. Previously, I have tried the Advanced Radical Night Repair, which will cause an amazing peel after using it two consecutive nights. It is listed as one of the five things you can do to get glowing skin in this blog post.
You cannot go wrong with any of their products. I have tried everything from the Zo Skin Care Calming Toner to the Oclipse Sunscreen Primer. Zo Skin Care products are consistently high-end and effective. There are a lot of steps to the ZO Skin Health line, so I suggest that you make an appointment with Dr. Lynley McAnalley and have her make some recommendations for you. It is skin specific and you really need to know which Zo Skin Care products you will need. After using their products, I notice that my skin is hydrated and brighter. It feels moist and protected.
Since first talking about this skincare line, many of you have pointed out that it is pretty intense and harsh on your skin. I will say that if you have delicate skin, this skincare line is probably not for you. Please consult with your dermatologist before starting any new product.
I still continue to use this line of skincare and highly recommend it. Now, if someone could just invent a cream to make my entire body hydrated and brighter. Anyone???

Great blog about ZO Skin Health! It is the best line on the market and they do have a product that helps with the body – Brightamax targets Hyperpigmentation on the Body and their Body Emulsion is fabulous as well!
Thanks Jackie! Trying it now.

You said you’d like your body to be moisturized too. I just starting using Zo products so I decided with the other products I have bought previously and won’t need now I will use on my body. Then I’m not wasting products.
There are so many skin products out there now days. This sounds like a great product. I will have to check this out for my aging skin. Thank you for sharing
Of course Linda. Let me know what you think about the products if you get them.

old Greg!! Yeah, I think you mentioned tht&0#823a; Gaga was definitely a Boosh fan. Though how could anyone not be? Randomness takes human forms in Noel and Julian.
wanted as much fabric to play with as possible. After some brain storming, I discovered this little how to for a corseted t-shirt on Ca#;y&r8217ls blog Chic Steals, and decided to see if I could apply the
Buyer beware on Obagi products: if you have sensitive skin you may find them extremely irritating. They are very strong products and actually did my skin more harm than good – and I was a patient of Dr. Obagi’s at the time. The hyper-pigmentation on my arms grew worse and I developed a horrible rash on my chest and neck. Dr. Obagi recommended I cut back on the dose but that didn’t seem to help. I tried to work with him and his products for a year but finally gave up. I had to go to a new dermatologist to try to reverse some of the inflammation and damage his products caused to my skin. I’m now using 100% organic products, my skin has calmed down and it looks better than ever. My current dermatologist told me Dr. Obagi’s philosophy is “peel and peel even more” which can ultimately leave the skin dull and irritated. I know many people love Obagi products so if you give them a try, go slow and see how your skin reacts first.
I’m sorry you experienced this Jacqueline. My experience wasn’t anything like this. I really love all the products and my skin feels amazing.

Which products did you end up going to?
I’m finding the same issue!
Same here, I found Dr. V on YouTube a little too late. Check her out she knows her stuff when it comes to people of color
great blog, thanks for the info. I have been reading about this and am glad I read the blog
Thanks for letting me know Cindy!

Are you still loving the products. My skin is so irritated and crepitus. It’s meen 2 months.
Yes, I love them. But they are aggressive and my skin can take it. Be sure to have your dermatologist make a recommendation for you.

I have used zo Revitatrol and the radical night repair creme. When using these cremes you have to be aware of your very own skin type. Both of this cremes are strong. I cannot use either one on my neck, as we get older the skin on our neck gets thinner, cremes that do work and show a difference can be harmful to your neck. I love them both, I started slowly with them both. Have been using them for about six weeks and am definitely starting to see a difference. Patience is definitely something we all need when it comes to these cremes. I myself love these oroducts.
I completely agree with you Mitzi. Thanks for sharing your experience with the readers.

Should you use the radical night repair under your eyes or above your lips ?
I would not recommend using radical night repair near your eyes. I haven’t experienced an issue around my lips. This product line is extremely pricey, something to consider before going down this skincare path. The scrubs are soooo nice and the serum is divine!
Absolutely not around the eyes. Your skin is too thin and sensitive in that area. The lip area is fine and I have never had a problem with that. It gives an aggressive peel so be careful.
Also, I have found that my one tube of radical night repair lasts me a solid 6-8 months. I use it once a month.

Honestly, I would never buy them again. Spent around 500 dls in my local currency for only 3 products which aggravated severely my skin condition. I’ve got very sensitive skin and the Serum combined with the Normal Cleanse or the Aknetrol burnt my skin to the point that I had to check with another dermatologist to heal the wounds – specially in the cheekbones and forehead -. Also, they did nothing for my acne. My skin is dehydrated, hyperpigmented and flaky after the treatment. I ended up giving away my products
Best comprehensive, medical-grade skincare line on the market—hands down. My patients love this truly transformative line. Product choice and usage instructions are both crucial for optimal results. Thanks for sharing again, Tanya.
Maybe this line is not the best choice for sensitive skin. What are your thoughts?
Sensitivity must be identified and corrected FIRST and FOREMOST before advancing to the more aggressive products. Otherwise, your experience will be like those whose wasn’t positive, who gave up and sought help elsewhere to correct the undesired effects. There is a customized regime to correct these sensitivities. I’ve seen one [born] with eczema eventually become tolerant to every night use of Radical Night Repair (which is the intended goal, not once a month, may I add). Some can run, others must walk while the rest have to crawl their way through their regimes. Your provider must know the line inside out and have been educated properly, in order to help their patients through it effectively. Patients must be clear and transparent about their experiences throughout their course, so that they can be coached effectively. I’m thankful to have a fantastic ZO Skin Health Mentor in order to provide the best for my patients.
This was the best post and so timely!!! I really need to evaluate my skin care routine!!! Thank you for all of this information!!!
Amazing products! With consistent and instructed use, I have see great results!
I have been using Zo skin care for about a year. I have gradually added additional Zo products to my daily routine. However, just recently I started to get break outs on my face similar to a chicken pox spot. (Not acne, I’m almost l70).
Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know which Zo product could be causing this. Short of not using any of these products for awhile, I would love to know which item caused this so I could eliminate it for a short period of time. I suppose I could start from scratch and introduce one product at a time but since I have invested in most of their products (which I do like) I would love a suggestion as to what could be causing this acne type reaction.
