I’m always on the lookout for a dress that I can wear year-round. And I’m happy to say that I found one I love! This denim shirt dress is light and breezy enough for Spring and Summer with sandals or flats, and I thought it would also look very stylish with brown booties in the Fall too. I’m going to have my eye out for a new pair of booties during the upcoming Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for sure. But there’s so many things I love about this denim shirt dress, so I want to share all my thoughts with you.
Firstly, I love the longer midi length of this denim shirt dress, as it can function well for the office or just an easy summer outing. And Although it is warming up quite a bit here in Dallas, the long sleeves don’t even bother me because it’s so lightweight. You should know that though this looks like denim, it feels more cloth-like and has a breathable cotton lining. When you have a long sleeve dress like mine, just try rolling up the sleeves as I did here and you will feel so much cooler. Plus, doing this really lets your accessories shine. If you haven’t noticed yet, these gold bracelets (here, here and here) are my favorite outfit toppers. They make any outfit look more polished.
Also, I adore the built-in belt on this dress! I had the perfect brown leather shoes (similar here) and handbag to match with it. This really made for such a classic look. Color coordinating the little details within an outfit always looks more put-together in my opinion. Don’t you agree? So I cannot wait to wear this with some brown booties in the Fall later on as well.
