WOW! It’s been forever since I have done an Instagram round-up on here. I’ve taken two trips in January already and I am linking some of my travel looks and essentials for you today. Are there certain items you always travel with?
Pete and I made a quick weekend trip to NYC for my birthday weekend in January. We got tickets to To Kill A Mockingbird and the Broadway production is excellent! Jeff Daniels is in the lead as Atticus Finch and Dallas’ own Stark Sands plays Horace Gilmer, the prosecutor. It you get a chance to see this Aaron Sorkin produced play, I highly recommend it. I am going to predict some Tony Award nominations.
Just last week Ruth M. and I went to Sundance Film Festival to catch some amazing independent film (I listed them in this blog post). We had so much fun! Both locations were cold weather cities so my packing list was very similar. I thought I would do a quick round-up of my outfits and some travel essentials. You can shop each look immediately beneath the picture.
What’s ahead: Tomorrow I am going to blog about an amazing NEW car service that has just launched in Dallas. You’re going to want to know about this so please check back tomorrow. AND, I have another fantastic film screening event coming up at the end of February and this one will be a psycho-thriller with lots of drama. As you know, I only send these dedicated film screening opportunities and exclusive invitations to YOU – my loyal subscribers. Be ready to RSVP quickly!
The greatest compliment you can give me is to refer a friend to this site. Subscribers are key to grow TanyaFoster.com. Simply ask them to SUBSCRIBE by clicking here. That’s it. It’s so simple.

Instagram Round-Up
I wore this to a meeting last week and got so many compliments. I’m wearing Lafayette 148 and I LOVE this brand. This coat is sold out in cream but still available in Empress Teal and its on SALE! My shoes work well with solid black too. They come in several different colors.

It was SO cold the weekend we were in NYC for my birthday. This insulated hooked parka came in handy.

How amazing are both pairs of these boots? This is a new brand for me and I’m so glad I discovered them.

Pete and I recently bought new TUMI luggage because we were tired of our two-wheel Tumi luggage. Now all of our luggage is four-wheeled. It’s so much easier to navigate. We also purchased the red accessory kits which will allow us to easily identify our bags if we check them (they come in several colors). Also, the backpack slides onto the handle of the carry-on bag.

This is my typical look at Sundance Film Festival. Casual and functional for films and fun. This is another great thermal parka that is thin yet warm. These boots are new and great for rain or snow.

We were so excited to support our dear friend Katherine H., producer of SISTER AIMEE in their Sundance Film Festival world premiere screening. We snapped this picture at the film after party. My boots are a wedge heel and super fun to wear in Dallas too.

I’m OBSESSED with Erborian products. I love traveling with them because of the way the products are packaged. I let Ruth M. try some of them while we were in Park City, Utah and she loved them too. I have dry skin and she has combination skin and the products were great for both of us. I have blogged about them before and you can find that here.I use the color CLAIRE and that works for fair skin. The solid cleaning oil is a balm cleanser and it’s really good. You can take off your mascara and make-up at the same time.

Such a helpful post! I agree on the Lafayette jeans–comfy and polished!
Hi Tanya-
I love your blog because I always learn something.
I have two topics I’d love for you to address: the best lipsticks and makeup tips for the mature woman.
Thank you.
