Not going to lie… it is so hard to come back to the daily grind after being on a beautiful beach for the week. Pete and I had such a wonderful stay at The Dunmore on Harbour Island, Bahamas. I seriously recommend it for your next beach vacation. I’m excited to reminisce a little bit while sharing with you what I wore in the Bahamas. You can see how my Bahamas packing list was so helpful for styling while I was on my trip. You can read the full list here. Also, if you didn’t get the chance to follow my adventures, be sure to follow me on Instagram here. There will a separate blog post detailing everything about our trip including how to get there, what to do where to eat and details about The Dunmore Resort.
In the top photo above, I wore this bikini top and bottom with this cover-up all made by Cabana Life. They have amazing swimwear product that you need to check out. I love their modest cuts on their swim suits. In the second photo, I wore this sarong paired with this matching bikini top and bottom all by Johnny Was. This is another great swimwear company. Their fit is so good! Both are paired with this beach tote and this sun hat to complete the look for a full day in the sand and sun! If you want to see the swimsuit shot, click here.

What I Wore in the Bahamas
Let’s start off with some more beach looks! This cover-up was so easy and breezy for the beach, plus the white matches everything. Y’all its only $25! This beach tote, this sun hat and these flip flops were my go-to’s for the beach days. In the top picture I am wearing this one shoulder one piece. In the second photo, this black swimsuit was perfect for tanning.

I just adore this floral dress that I am wearing. It was great for walking around and exploring the island. This floral tie dress is from the same company, so you might as well get both while you’re shopping! I paired it with these sandals (which come in lots of color options), this hat, this straw tote, and these sunglasses. Below I have linked some jewelry that pairs nicely with this look.

I spy another Bahamas look. So I just love this romper! It was great to go out to eat in or even use as a cover-up. I paired it with these shoes and this tote to complete the look. This was a look that I created before I left that you can see in my packing list post. Also, I get a dark spray tan from Whitney at GLOWW and it lasts for an entire week. She will custom formulate a color for you. I highly recommend her and her services!

Here are two great looks for a day of activities thanks to these jean shorts. You can put them over a swimsuit for an easy transition from an activity to cooling off in the ocean. This one piece swimsuit or this black swimsuit are two of my favorite options. You can also wear this rashguard, this tee, or this tank if you want to cover up your swimsuit. A style tip is to tie your favorite silk scarf to make a headband for a beachy and trendy look. You can read about how to tie your scarf here.

It is always smart to have options for a nice dinner or an evening out. This palm dress and this silk dress, both by Ala Von Auersperg, were perfect for the warmer beach temperatures. I paired both of them with strappy snakeskin heels and jewelry.

I hope you enjoyed reading what I wore in the Bahamas. Now it’s time to plan my next beach trip! Can’t wait to share all the details about this trip. Stay tuned…

Really enjoyed this blog post! Great info and I loved all your picks! I was wondering how your extensions did and if you were planning to do a ‘pros and cons’ about them. I’ve been having the same hair thinning issues and am considering them but have some reservations about how hard they might be to care for. Also – on the Paige Denim Shorts can you share the size you purchased? I’ve been the lucky recipient t if some of your Poshmark items and they always fit well so wanted help on the best size to order. Thanks again!
Your beach outfits are great and such wonderful colors. I especially love the striped one shoulder. Thanks for all of your suggestions. I need to get started now on purchasing beach/summer outfits before they sell out. Not kidding – I went to the mall to see if I could get a few winter sale items (that I don’t need) and the swimwear was on display. I agree with you, one holiday at a time. Valentines were out the day after Christmas and I’m also seeing St. Patrick’s Day and July 4th merchandise. I guess I’ve lost my niche for shopping so that’s why I depend on you.
