If off on my next beach trip and will be the blogging about the amazing destination soon. If you ever want a real-time report, just follow along on Instagram and watch my IG stories. Let’s talk a little more about the Disney combo trip. Laura and I attended the Disney Creators Conference and were lucky enough to attend both Walt Disney World AND enjoy a Disney Cruise. Be sure to see why this is the absolute best combo for a trip. There’s so much to do and see, so I will give you some pointers on what to wear while you’re exploring Disney.

The trickiest part of a trip like this is deciding what to pack! I will share what we packed plus our favorite tips and things to do. For starters, you must have your Minnie Mouse ears! They come in a variety of colors and styles depending on which park you’re in, so be sure to get all of your favorites ahead of time. My tip? Go to Magic Kingdom and get the iconic shot in front of the castle before heading to Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip! At night, we recommend checking out a firework show at Epcot or Magic Kingdom. In the picture above, we are enjoying dessert while watching a spectacular firework show at Epcot.

I love this look for travel day.  This tote made by Bagging Rights combined with this Minnie Mouse luggage with a double compartment is the only way to travel. This extra space is great for this trip since you must pack for land and sea! Don’t forget that you can get 10% OFF and Bagging Rights product with code TANYA.  The perfect sweater for an airport day is obviously this “Wheels Up” Sail to Sable sweater. It pairs easily with a pair of comfortable jeans and sneakers. It will also keep you warm on the plane. You’ll notice that I took it off and draped it over my shoulders once I arrived in Florida. That’s another tip: Layer when you travel. Especially if you are dealing with two very different climates.

Here are some of my favorite looks for exploring the Disney Parks! It is fun to incorporate some Disney apparel into your wardrobe each day, like this Star Wars: Mandalorian baseball hat. The Child (aka Baby Yoda) is by far my favorite Disney character and I am OBSESSED! I definitely recommend checking out Disney Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge that I have detailed before. During the day, it is great to wear a pair of shorts like these Paige denim shorts or these Talbots jean shorts. A pair of white jeans are great to wear if you will be in the parks during the day and night. A denim jacket is also a great lightweight option to keep you warm during a chilly night.

I highly recommend walking around the parks after the sun sets. All of the various countries literally light up and come alive at Epcot. Also check out late nights in Animal Kingdom… you may witness some special lights :). Rides that are definitely worth the Fast Pass in Disney’s Animal Kingdom are Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. It is also really fun to check out the various safari and animal tours throughout the park. We were lucky enough to see many animals in action! My favorite? The meerkats! I could have watched them all day. Other rides not to miss include Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, and of course Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (although not on Fast Pass). All of these are found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Cruise Wear

Now that we’ve covered what to wear in Disney parks, let’s look at the best Disney Cruise looks. The Sail to Sable long sleeve flutter hem dress and the Eliza J balloon sleeve dress were both perfect to wear to a show and dinner on the Disney cruise. This flutter style dress is a must-have for your spring wardrobe. It is easy and breezy to wear and accessorize for. I also loved the Cabana Life off the shoulder beach dress for the Disney cruise. It was the perfect dress to throw on for shopping in Nassau. You can also wear it as a swimsuit coverup.

I discussed our cruise activities and all of the amazing things to explore on and off the ship here, but a tip I have for the adults like us is to take the later dinner seating (8:15 PM). This way, you can attend one of the amazing theater shows before dinner. During the break between the show and dinner, we really loved going to the cruise pub to play games and participate in music trivia night. It was the perfect flow to our evening. And we had sop much fun! I knew most of the 80’s music but completely depended on Laura to ace the 90’s and 2000’s music.

So now what to wear to a Disney cruise excursion? Cabana Life has amazing options for swimwear. The navy tassel wrap romper that Laura is wearing is great to wear for walking around, for dinner, or as a cover up! I have it in the preppy palm print and wore it in the Bahamas. This Cabana Life bikini top and bottom that Laura is wearing are so flattering and well-made, plus they come in a variety of prints and styles. I love this black one piece because it avoids all of those awkward tan lines that most swimsuits give you. And of course, you can’t forget the special Disney Cruise Minnie Ears for whichever destination you’re in. I love shopping online with Shop Disney before my trip because this gives you official Disney merchandise prior to arriving.

Do you have any favorite Disney activities that I didn’t mention? I’d love to hear about them! Specifically, tell us your favorite ride.

xoxo – Tanya
