H E L L O Monday! I just got home from New York and I can’t wait to share my NYFW recap with you later this week. How was your weekend? This post seems super appropriate for today because this is one of those discombobulated mornings when I look in my closet and say “What am I going to wear?”. Do you ever do that? Well, here’s my short answer. A crisp white shirt will always work!
I promise to get my NYFW recap up this week. This was one of the BEST trips I had to NYC and I can’t wait to share it with you. In the meantime, I wanted to quickly share this simple fashion trick with you. When you are stuck trying to put together an outfit in your closet, pick a white shirt. Dress it up or down, either way it will always look chic. I did something a little tricky in today’s blog post pictures. Can you tell what it is? Leave the answer in the comments.
This exact crisp white shirt is from Lafayette 148 and I absolutely LOVE it. The exaggerated sleeves are the bomb.com and make such a statement! I paired the shirt with my black wide legs jeans (currently sold out; linked similar ones here) and added a punch of red with my handbag and lipstick. So simple, yet so chic. That is all.
xoxo – Tanya
P.S. Be sure to check out this blog post about Lafayette 148. I am simply over the moon about the brand!

What is “bomb.com?” I try to be a good hubby and proof many of the blogs for Tanya. This one got me however, I thought it was a typo. I’ll admit I’m on the backside of 30 and never been to NYFW. I’m just not up on the lingo, I guess. OTOH, not one of the younger folk that work for me knew about this term either. It took my 30-ist daughter Meghan to “splain” it to me. It’s from about 10 years ago and if you need a translator like me, it translates as follows: “Pronounced ‘bomb-dot-com’. This is the same as calling something bomb. Generally it means that you really enjoy something, or you think that something is really good. It can be used interchangeably with awesome, incredible, spectacular, sweet, etc.” Credits and kudos to the Urban Dictionary.
For the love of God…
