Happy October everyone! Wasn’t the weather over the weekend absolutely spectacular? Today we are going to look at the ‘Best of September’ as far as the blog is concerned. Oh, and there’s an update on the ‘Where in the World’ travel blog post. We’ve narrowed down our December trip to THREE locations and today you get to vote.
I love looking at the google analytics numbers to see what resonates with my readers. Google tracks what gets clicked on within my site (well all over the internet really) and this is a leading indicator of what works on here. These are the Top 5 blog posts for the month of September on TanyaFoster.com (#1 is at the top). For your convenience, I have added the shopable links about that blog post immediately underneath the picture as well as the direct link to that blog post in case you would like to read it in its entirety. Heck, you never know when you missed a great post. And for all the new folks who have joined me on this site, it’s a good way for you to play catch up.
Then, scroll all the way down to help decide where we will be spending our 25th Anniversary. I need your input so please VOTE and feel free to leave a comment about the destination of your choice and any recommendations you have. Read this blog post is you want to see all the ideas you all came up with.
As always, THANK YOU for your input and for stopping by today! xoxo – Tanya

Where in the World – Part 2
OK, if you remember this blog post, you know that there were several stipulations to the 25th Anniversary trip. 1) We want to celebrate on our actual anniversary – December 19 and 2) we want to explore a destination that we haven’t been to before. Because you don’t know everywhere we have been, many of the great suggestions were eliminated because we have already been there. Here are the THREE finalists. Today, you get to VOTE and help us decide where in the world to go to.
Please LEAVE A COMMENT below with your choice. If you have any great recommendations for that location, please leave them in the comments. The winning location will be disclosed later on the blog. ONE lucky winner will be selected for a surprise GIFT BOX with products in value of over $500. The only way to have a chance to win is to leave a comment on this blog post. Winner will be selected through random drawing.
Destination choices:
Marrakech, Morocco
Paris, France
Bora Bora
Bora Bora! 😀 Overwater bungalows, snorkeling, and dinner at Bloody Mary’s!
Paris, France it’s the city of Love. You can visit great museums , restaurants and the shopping is the best in the world. Out of the three choices I’ve never been to Bora Bora. Upon reading your blog Paris should be your first choice.
Although Morocco sounds SO intriguing, my vote goes to Bora Bora. It screams romance & relaxation, which is what I think of first for anniversary trips. Plus, who doesn’t want to go somewhere tropical during the ‘winter blah’ months?!
Paris for sure! Exploring castles, visiting vineyards, wine and cheese under the lights of the Eiffel Tower. Oui!
Paris will be cold. Bora Bora is beautiful and relaxing, but can be boring after awhile. La Mamounia in Marrakesh (many nice riads also) is unbelievable and a camel safari in the desert for a few nights will be an unforgettable experience.
Morroco – it would be an exotic getaway with great weather
As I suggested 2 of your 3 final choices, I will stay with those. #1. Bora Bora because it is exotic, beautiful beyond words and tropical . The Four Seasons hands down. This will be your choice if you want to chill out and drift through the days.
#2. Marrakech. Exotic, other worldly, adventurous. Choose here if you want an active trip that will require planning your days to maximize your adventure. Over the top luxurious raids/hotels . Also consider a Few days at Peacock Pavillions for a very personalized experience to include guided shopping in the souks.Peacockpavillions.com
Although all great destinations, I would vote on Bora Bora. How romantic! Beautiful beaches and water. And I think it would be fabulous that time of year to have a restful vacation instead of the hustle and bustle of the other two places!
I would vote for Paris- the City of Love and Lights. Considering your blog is about fashion you could do research and write off part or all of the trip ! 🙂
The food, fashions, museums and the train under the English Channel you might could fit in a trip to London!
Have fun!
Paris! What more could you ask for in a destination . . . food [fresh baked croissants, crepes, escargot], shopping [fashion and antiques], history [ the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, museums galore]. And, it’s an easy flight too. Buy the Rick Steves guide book and you will be set.
Definitely Bora Bora! It’s beautiful, very romantic, and you can relax.
PARIS! So beautiful with so much history. Stay at Georges V, eat at Le Souffle, sooo delicious and take the train to the Loire Valley, the countryside is stunning! Definitely have cocktails at the Ritz Wherever you end up of these 3 will most assuredly be fabulous! Bon Voyage! xoxo
If you haven’t been to Paris That’s my vote! My husband and I went about 18 years ago and stayed at this darling hotel in Saint Germaine! We loved walking to Deux Margots and exploring the city by foot! Plus, is there any place more romantic than Paris?!!! Happy Anniversary!!
(Apologies in advance for my southern-French spelling! Ha!)
Paris, the City of Love and FASHION! Stay in Le Marais for an aristocratic and authentic Parisian neighborhood experience. There are plenty of intimate and exquisite boutique hotels.
Hands down, I vote for Morocco if you want adventure and exploration. I vote Bora Bora if you want beaches and romance. Either would make for the trip of a lifetime! They are both on my bucket list for sure!
