Today I am so excited to finally reveal our new guest bedroom! This room refresh was a long time coming, so I am so happy that it’s finally complete. Be sure to read all the way through for all of the product details, paint colors and fabrics used. Plus I’ll show you the before pictures. You will not believe the difference.
First of all, a HUGE thank you to Amy Berry Design for her vision and making this renovation happen. She is an amazing designer based in Dallas that is my go-to gal for all my design needs. Sharp, smart and she comes with a team of “get it done” staff members. She was the creative behind my home office remodel, plus many other home updates!
Guest Bedroom UPDATE
Now let’s take a look at the details of the remodel. This is Taylor’s old bedroom and she graduated high school in 2012. While she still uses it when she visits, it was time for it to get out of the high school/college memory phase. we replaced the bed mattress with this plush pillow top mattress (with this mattress protector). It is so comfortable that it almost makes me want to sleep there instead of my own bed. We decided to opt out of the box spring and used this bunkie board instead. It works just as well. Amy took the headboard and had it recovered. We also went from a full size bed to a queen size bed. You may remember that we recently updated our master bedroom and switched over to Sferra bedding and Boll & Branch sheets. We have loved it so much that we used it in the guest bedroom as well. The guest bed has the Boll & Branch signature hemmed sheets with the Sferra Grande Hotel bed skirt, sham and duvet cover. These brands create high-quality products that make your guest feel comfortable and at home without breaking the bank!
Another major change to the room are the nightstands. I purchased two of these drawer nightstands for the room. I really love the size and the handle design. I also updated the lamps to these Our Kings Lane blue and white lamps. They’re so pretty! As for as the rest of the room goes, they were either custom done or old pieces that we had redone. I have noted everything below.
What do you think? Would you want to be a guest staying in this room? xoxo – Tanya
P.S. I am wearing this dress in size 6 and these suede pumps

What is the paint and carpet color in the guest bedroom. I was able to locate the colors on the side tables/ chest but not wall color? Thanks!
Kristie,
The whole how is Colonial White. I believe that’s Benjamin Moore.
Carpet is very old and I don’t remember the color.
Thanks-
Tanya
