Happy New Year! I hope the holidays were wonderful and merry filled with family, laughter and fun. 2014 was a great year! It was my first year to blog. You might remember that my New Year’s resolution for 2014 was to start a blog. I did it! I published 253 blog posts on various aspects of FILM, FASHION and FUN. I hope you have enjoyed the journey. Stay tuned. We will celebrate the blog turning ONE in January with some interesting collaborations and contests.
I took a little mini vaca from the blog and I have to say, I missed you. The holidays got the best of me and I just couldn’t find the time to research and write. That and my husband and I started binge watching Game of Thrones. But now it is time to move on and get 2015 started. You might remember that at the beginning of each year I like to do a cleanse. Last year, I did this one and blogged about it here.
This year, I have chosen to do the 5 day beginner cleanse with Vim +Vigor. Why the beginner cleanse when I have done a juice cleanse before? Because I have figured out that I like to chew food and the Vim+Vigor beginner cleanse let’s you drink four juices per day and eat dinner. They even give you the exact dinner menu here. From Monday – Friday I will drink the #1, #7, #9 and #10 juices throughout the day (in that order) and then have the dinner. I am also adding their #12 Kick Start Metabolism juice the weekend after I finish. Vim + Vigor uses a “farm to bottle” process with the freshest organic produce available. Basically, I will drink a juice every 2 hours throughout the day and consume a lot of water to help detox my body. Detox it of what you might wonder? Well, the holidays in general (sweets, alcohol, holiday dinners, food, food, food). All of that will be flushed out and I will feel much better.
Want to do it with me? Vim+Vigor can be ordered on-line here. You can also find it at Whole Foods Market and Central Market. I will be giving updates on all of my social media throughout the week. Check back here in a week and I will do a re-cap blog post on how it went. Who knows. One good habit might lead to another.
Bottoms up! xoxo- Tanya
Thank you to Vim+Vigor for sponsoring this post. All opinions are mine.
