Thank you so much for all the beautiful birthday wishes. I was overwhelmed with your sweet comments, Facebook posts, messages and e-mails. You know exactly how to make a gal feel great! I read each and every one of them and tried to reply. I hope you read the post on Thursday and read my birthday wish. I took Friday off because well… Thursday. I celebrated all day long with friends and family. What a great day!
The Pantone color of the year is GREEN. Specifically Pantone15-0343 / Greenery. What does this mean for you? It’s supposed to inspire all of us to incorporate more of this color into our daily lives. I’ve decided to take this green pintucked pencil skit that you have seen before in this blog post and add some solid color pieces to it. Voila! I have incorporated the 2017 color of the year into my wardrobe!
In addition to linking you to every piece I am wearing in the pictures above (immediately under the last picture) I am also linking you to green wardrobe pieces I am loving right now. Sort of a green gallery. Any of these items would be a great way to incorporate some green in to your closet or home. Also, I want to mention that the Net-A-Porter Clearance Sale has started. There is so much great stuff on sale for up to 80% OFF!
For those of you following me on Snapchat and Instagram Stories (tanyafosterblog on all social media) you know that I just finished week one of Whole30. I am charting my journey by taking lots of food pictures. It helps hold me accountable. So far, I am doing ok although Day 3 just about killed me. The lifesaver has been La Croix (lime flavor is my favorite) and the Whole30 cookbook. I will get an update blog post done soon and include some of my favorite recipes. In the meantime, if you have some recipes you want to share or just some hints on how to navigate my Whole30 journey, please leave a comment.
Happy Monday and Happy MLK Day! xoxo- Tanya
