For today’s post, Laura and I thought it would be fun to do a blog post focused on our beauty favorites. We tried to pick a variety of categories, but if there are any other products that you’re curious about be sure and ask in the comments! We’d also love to hear what your favorites are!
____
Tanya & Laura’s Beauty Favorites
Skincare Line
Tanya & Laura: Revision Skincare
The quality of Revision Skincare products is on another level. We love that they have a variety of skincare products, all which work so well for both our ages! You can read more about their products in detail HERE.
_____
Cleansing Balm
Tanya: Elemis Cleansing Balm
This is the OG of cleansing balms and the scent is out of this world! While I like numerous brands, I keep coming back to this one. I have the travel size for trips. Since you can use it to remover eye make-up, it helps me pack less products.
Laura: Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm
I love the Elemis Cleansing Balm, but picked Colleen Rothschild’s because it is a bit thicker, making it easier to take off makeup. I use it when I’m traveling for shows and it always easily removes my heavy stage makeup and false eyelash glue!
_____
Perfume
Tanya: Chanel Allure
I’ve been wearing this beautiful perfume for over 30 years. I always get compliments on it. It’s just “me”.
Laura: Estee Lauder Beauty Magnolia & Valentino Donna Born in Roma
I prefer floral scented perfumes, and love both of these. I wear both of these scents equally, sometimes just alternating between days.
_____
Haircare
Tanya: dpHue Color Fresh Oil Therapy
I have dry, coarse hair and really need to add oil daily. Justin Anderson, the Creative Director and Co-Founder of dpHUE did my highlights once in L.A. and introduced me to adding oil therapy to my hair daily. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Laura: Colleen Rothschild Quench & Shine Restorative Mask
This is the best hair mask ever (and I’ve tried other brands)! It really moisturizes your hair, plus it has a nice scent.
_____
Hair Styling Tools
Tanya: Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer & T3 Airebrush Duo
Yes, I know the Dyson hair dryer is pricey but its worth every penny! It cuts down the time to dry my hair by half. I then finish it out with the T3 Airbrush duo to round out my end and smooth my hair.
Laura: Infiniti Pro by Conair 3-in-1 Styler and Ceramic Curling Wand
I have used a version of this hair dryer since 8th grade, so it’s clearly a lifetime favorite. It comes with 3 different attachments, but I personally only use the brush attachment. It’s like blow drying while simultaneously brushing your hair, but much easier. I could never get that coordination down, so this tool was a total game changer. As for my curling wand, I will be completely honest and say that originally I just ordered the cheapest one with good ratings from Amazon so I could see if I liked using a wand. And I love it! It’s only $25 and has lasted for over three years. Plus, it creates a great curl that lasts!
_____
Facial Moisturizer
Tanya: DEJ by Revision Skincare
While I’ve been loving the entire SKKN by Kim Kardashian (she sent the entire line to me), I always reset myself to Revision Skincare. The DEJ moisturizer keeps my dry skin in check.
Laura: Perricone Intensive Overnight Moisturizer
This is my go-to moisturizer, especially during the winter months. It noticeably nourishes your skin and reduces any lines.
_____
Mascara
Tanya: Lash Idole Mascara
I have at least 5 mascaras in my makeup drawer at all times. But I keep coming back to this one.
Laura: tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
This mascara is great because it doesn’t flake off or clump like most mascaras, plus it makes your lashes look so long and full!
_____
Body Lotion
Tanya & Laura: Necessaire The Body Lotion
We both agree on this one! It is a thicker moisturizer, yet it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin hydrated and refreshed. We also love that it is fragrance free! Read more about it HERE.
_____
Face Mask
Tanya: 111 Celestial Black Diamond face mask
OMG! This mask is transformative! They come 5 to a packet and I savor each one of them!
Laura: Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Minimizing Cleansing Clay Mask
I use this cleansing mask once or twice a week! I love how it is a clay material and you can feel it working. Plus, my skin is always so soft afterwards.
_____
Lip Mask
Tanya: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This product was actually a recommendation of one of my blog subscribers (Carol E.). Apply it every night before bed and you will never have dry lips again!
Laura: Kiehl’s Buttermask Intense Repair Lip Treatment
This is the only lip mask that my lips become noticeably more moisturized after using. It’s especially a must-have during the winter months.
____
Nails
Tanya: OPI Let’s Be Friends
While I get my manicures and pedicures at Sophia’s Nail Spa on Lovers Lane, I always opt for OPI color. Most of the time you will see me wearing OPI Let’s Be Friends.
Laura: Dashing Diva Gel Nail Stickers
While I love Essie and OPI nail polish, I am the queen of chipping my nails. This is why I love these gel nail stickers. I was skeptical at first, but they actually turned out great. They are really easy to apply and look professionally done, yet they’re only $8! They’re perfect for when you need a manicure, but are on a budget. They even have statement nail sticker options in each pack if you want something fun!

Someday I hope you do a Dyson giveaway! Here’s hoping:)
Great recap and love Elemis cleansing balm too! The smell always reminds me of a spa and relaxes me!
Thanks for all the great suggestions! Will be trying some of your favorites!
Do you still recommend those rollers for your face, Tanya? I’ve never had one, but see people using them on reality shows and wonder if I’m missing out! If so, which one do you like?
