You know that I pride myself on being 100% honest with you. Every day, you join me for a little conversation, a tip or two and possibly learn something new. If I told you that you could have a non-surgical mini face lift in 45 minutes would you believe me? I did it, took pictures and CBS11 came out to video the procedure. Today let’s explore the Silhouette InstaLift with Dr. Lynley McAnalley.
I’m pretty sure that I have mentioned several times that I am in the age range when I start thinking about a face lift and neck lift. It will happen, it’s just a matter of time. To stave off these invasive cosmetic procedures, I do as much as I can with aesthetic medical treatments and good skincare. You have seen numerous blog posts about Thermage, Cool Sculpting, Voluma, Botox and more. I even shared with you 5 Ways to Get Glowing Skin in this blog post. I love exploring new treatments and trying beauty products. So when Dr. Lynley McAnalley of Highland Park Aesthetic Medicine approached me about this brand new procedure, I jumped at the chance to have it done. Why? Dr. McAnalley was the first approved physician in Dallas to do the InstaLift. You want an expert threading a needle through your face!
Silhouette InstaLift offers a nonsurgical alternative to lift sagging cheeks and jowls. While wrinkles, brown spots, and lost volume can be treated with existing procedures, until now there has been no minimally invasive way to lift the deeper layers of facial skin. Silhouette InstaLift is a simple procedure to re-contour your face by lifting the deeper layers of the skin for a more youthful appearance.
During the procedure, sutures with bidirectional cones will be used to reposition and elevate the skin of the face. The in-office procedure typically takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. This procedure offers immediate results with minimal recovery time. Over time the sutures will naturally be absorbed by your body while stimulating production of collagen. Results last approximately 18-24 months.
I know what you are thinking. Ouch! I did not hurt and I felt absolutely nothing. Dr. McAnalley deadened all of the injection sites before performing the mini lift. There is no downtime (that is huge for me) and I attended a dinner that evening. CBS11 came the day of the procedure to tape the process and followed up with me one week later so that they could show the before and after pictures. It’s not a drastic change and I think that is key with all procedures. The improvements will continue as the sutures dissolve and cause collagen to produce. You want to look younger and more youthful but you still need to look like yourself. Gentle changes along the way is they perfect way to accomplish that. I love it!
These aren’t the prettiest pictures (all shot with my smart phone) and the video will show you EVERYTHING. Consider yourself warned. Be sure to contact Dr. Lynley McAnalley at 214.692.8844 to schedule your consultation for Silhouette InstaLift. For a full list of her services click here.

Dinner event I attended the evening of the procedure. You really can’t tell I had anything done. No down time!
