Happy Monday! I hope you all had a magnificent weekend. I know we did! We spend the last three days at the Stars & Stripes Luncheon and Film Festival watching great films and listening to military personnel immediately afterward for a Q & A. Mark your calendar for this next year because you don’t want to miss this annual event that honors our veterans and first responders.

I love discovering new things, don’t you? If you know me well, you know that I am the ultimate networker and connector of people. I love meeting new people and today’s blog post is just such a story. I discovered Rebekah Newman and Cynthia Colocousis through The Michael Flores Salon. Weird connection, right? We are all clients of Michael Flores (color) and Chad Demchuk (cut & style). Michael and Chad often share my blog with their clients. So that is how I discovered CrateChef. Let me introduce you.

CrateChef is a Gourmet Box business (https://www.cratechef.com). Every other month a top-name chef chooses 5-6 of their favorite things (either non-perishable food items and/or kitchen tools) and then includes a few recipes and a personal letter that we package and ship to our subscribers all over the US. I received two boxes to try for this blog post. One was curated by Chef Kent Rathbun and the second one was curated by San Antonio’s Chef Jason Dady. Both came with beautiful food items and kitchen tools as well as a letter from the chef and several recipes. Even Max was interrested in what was in my box.

This is an excellent gift idea for that hard to buy person on your list who is the ultimate foodie. You can purchase this as a single box ($49), three box subscription ($44 per box) or subscribe to receive them every other month ($45). What a perfect treat for under $50! The flat rate shipping fee is $6 to anywhere in the U.S.
