I must have the most dry skin and hair known to man. I’m talking my skin looks like snake scales in the winter. My hair is normally dry, so the cold winter temps only make it worse. I am constantly in pursuit of products and services that will help me winterized my skin and conger up a healthy glow.
If you follow me on social media and watch my Instagram Stories (which also can be watched on my Facebook Page Stories) you know that I receive a lot of products PR packages. These are brands that like to ship their full size products in hopes of my covering them. There is never any obligation on my part when free product is shipped to me. I would say that 90% of the products I open, never make it to the blog. My personal policy is to try it for at least 2 weeks to see if A) it makes a difference B) I like it and would pay for the product and C) will my readers find this helpful. So when I find products that are worth sharing, you will see them here.
With that being said, I have done countless BEAUTY blog posts reviewing hundreds of products. Some of the more popular blog posts have been:

All of these blog posts are worth revisiting because the truth is, I still love all of these products and use them often. Here are products and services I have discovered that help winterize my skin.
5 Tips To Winterize Your Dry Skin and Hair
Moroccan Oil Night Body Serum: You probably already know that Moroccan Oil makes incredible hair care products to keep your hair shiny. Guess what? Their body care is incredible too. I apply the Night Body Serum every night before bedtime. It soaks right in and makes my skin so soft!
Beauty Bioscience The Radiance: You already know I am a huge fan of local gal pal Jamie O’Banion and her entire Beauty Bioscience skincare line, GloPro and Rose Quartz Roller. So when they sent The Radiant Oil, I couldn’t wait to try it. It’s a brightening facial oil that you can layer easily with other products. Use it in the morning and at night after cleansing. It sells our all the time. Get on the waitlist!
Nutri-Element Facial with Codage Paris:There is so much buzz about this signature facial at The Spa at The Joule that I couldn’t wait to make my appointment. The highly sought-after French cosmetics brand’s secret weapon is its comprehensive range of bespoke serums that are designed to respond to your skin’s nutritional needs in an ultra-targeted way. This is a 90 minute highly tailored facial for all skin types. Of course I booked a message immediately afterwards. Heck, I might even stay for lunch! The entire Codage Paris skincare line can be found at the spa as well. Click here to book or call 214-261-4555.
Colleen Rothschild Pomegranate & AHA Resurfacing Mask: If you knew how much pomegranate Pete and I eat you would understand my love for this amazing mask! You apply a thin layer to your skin, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, rinse and voila – glowing skin. I do this 2 times per week at night, just after cleansing my skin. It tingles when it sits on your skin and it smells just like the fruit. Check out this blog post about the brand.
dpHUE Argan Oil Therapy: I literally use this every time I style my hair. You can put it in hour damp hair before styling it with your hair dryer or add it to dry hair (or both). It absorbs so quickly and it’s both light in weight and color. I adore the Creative Director Justin Anderson and have done a blog post on the brand before. Follow his Instagram account @justinandersoncolor to see all the A List stars whose tresses fall into his hands. He loves blondes!
Also, this is the robe that I am wearing. It is the same robe brand used in many high-end spas. It is so soft and I could just live in it. I had it monogrammed at a local embroidery shop. I talked about this travel make up bag on Instagram Stories and it sold like hot cakes. I have the 10″ size and its perfect for travel! This travel plastic bag will hold all of my liquids and creams. I have this Simplehuman makeup mirror on my vanity and its a game changer! They make a travel version as well. All great products to invest in.
I hope this helps you glow in the winter air! xoxo – Tanya

Thanks for the recommendations. My skin and hair are always so dry during the winter so I am always looking for new products to try!
I am really struggling with dry skin this winter too. Unfortunately I have not found a great facial moisturizer that 1) actually works and 2) does not clog my pores. Thanks for your tips!
Can’t wait to try. My heels are so dry it’s embarrassing!
Thanks for all the good recommendations. It’s always nice when you find something that you like and it works. The pain is purchasing an expensive product and then not being able to use it. All of your suggestions are great.
Hi Tanya. Awesome Tips! I think I have to face with very dry skin and hair that cause irritation. The products above are interesting. I use some of them so I will buy more. What is my daily use is face wash for dry skin which I really love its performance from https://www.womenangle.com/best-face-wash-for-dry-skin/. So, now I think I have all enough for winter. Thanks Tanya!
